  • Built linear and logistic regression models, decision trees, random forests, KNN, perceptrons, SVM, Naive Bayes, and PCA from scratch to deepen understanding of ML algorithms and model comparisons.
  • Implemented a movie recommendation system using custom TF-IDF vectorization for item-item and user-user similarities, achieving an accuracy of 75% on the ML-100k dataset.

Image Diffusion Model (Python, PyTorch)

September 2024

  • Implemented a diffusion model from scratch using a simplified UNet model for denoising in Python and PyTorch, including key components like the noise scheduler, forward diffusion, an L1 loss function, and a sampling function, for a small-scale proof-of-concept.

BERT Question-Answering System (PyTorch, Azure CR)

  • Developed a BERT QA system fine-tuned on the SQuAD dataset, and deployed it on Azure Container Registry as an API.
